My brain had a very specific itch for this series. Because of that, I have a hard explaining what the book is even about. I am aging myself here, but remember how in One Tree Hill there was an element of mystery throughout as we finished high school with the characters? I wanted that feeling. And then I wanted an age-friendly magical academy. Yes, with romance and a love triangle, but one that is truly safe for young adult readers.

And so a story was born.

There are magical races: vampires, giants, elven, pixie, wielders, and shifters.
There is a mystery undercurrent throughout: someone is concentrating pixie dust and drugging the regular civilian high school population. But why?
And of course, there is a love triangle. But it’s intentionally subtle until it’s not... it doesn't follow a formula.

I will warn you that this is a trilogy, two books of which I have already written, so you won’t get all the answers in book one. But you will meet a set of characters that I love dearly. A plot that might feel a little off the rails, because I needed something fresh and wholly different for my brain.

All of that to say, you finally get to read this story for yourself. A story three years in the making! Grab a drink and snack with me. Buckle up.
